Southern Belles are meant to be debutantes, ladies in training that will take their place in society soon. They are to become the ladies of the manor. Ladies wear too many underthings. Ladies get incredibly hot in these ridiculous underthings. Ladies have inattentive husbands that continue to visit brothels while the wives wait at the manor. I will not be such a lady. I will enjoy being the scandalous debutante to the fullest, and I will be fulfilled. I will learn the ways of those unkempt women that let strangers pay them in coin for their greedy gratification. My husband shall never need to walk through the door of such a place. My father has secured a picnic with an eligible suitor near the river where its cool in the shade for tomorrow afternoon. I shall make sure there is enough brandy in our chaperones lemonade that she shall sleep soundly whilst I untie my petticoats and demand to know what carnal pleasures my suitor seeks.
