Hi! I'm Medical Mya, but you can just call me "Mya." I'm a woman with multiple disabilities, including physical disabilities, hearing loss, & vision impairment. I have lots of medical equipment, including a power wheelchair, manual wheelchair, 2 feeding tubes & 2 feeding pumps, ventilator, Cough Assist machine, oxygen concentrator, leg braces, urinary catheter, hearing aids, & special glasses.

I endure lots of hospitalizations, surgeries, & medical procedures, & I've had lots of IVs. I also need a nurse to care for me for almost 12 hours each day. Most of my countless medical problems are due to a rare genetic neuromuscular disease that is progressive, has no treatment, & no cure.
