I am a painter originally from West Africa, now living in St. Louis, Missouri and working around the U.S.
My artistic journey has been shaped by the vibrant cultures, rich traditions, and diverse histories of my homeland. My work aims to bridge the gap between my African heritage and my experiences in the United States, creating pieces that explore identity, I blend traditional West African motifs with contemporary styles, using vibrant colors, patterns, and textures that evoke a sense of movement, emotion, and connection to the past and present.
The fusion of African artistic traditions with the evolving influences of my new environment has allowed me to create a unique voice in the art world.
